Carl,
Thanks for sharing this. I printed the flyers and I'll read them over. I've
always been curious on this subject, but haven't really done any research.
For the most part I've managed to stay out of situations, but I've had
occasions where I've been told I wasn't able to take pictures...chemical
plants from ground and inside a casino. I'm sure they are correct and I
wasn't allowed to take the pictures. It'll be good to know in the future to
prevent embarrasing situations - like the casino...whew!

Although, I'm sure it would be real easy to bring a camera phone or pen
camera in to places like this...but the quality is gonna suffer.

Thanks,

Barbara

Subject: Rights to shoot

Now and then, the subject of "Where is it OK to Shoot" comes up. Here is a
newly published brief by a lawyer on this subject . The author also wrote
the book, Legal Handbook for Photographers. Applies to USA only.

I would love to see a discussion on how other countries deal with these
issues, especially European countries.
