Our weeds are growing well now we're almost into winter. The lawn
is almost all green and up to a couple of inches high in most
places.

And in some of the sheltered areas, where it was more sheltered
from the sun during summer, it is up to 2 ft high, but still
sparse enough to push through.

I must think about getting the mower out soon...

LATER: the winter rains have arrived at last.

Darn right! I never had anything like as much to do before I
retired

COMPETE 

And then She Who Must Be Obeyed keeps thinking up things to keep
me busy.... "Isn't it time we (We? HA!) painted the bathroom?"
