One of the apparently only two 24-hour Starbucks in the nation is located
in Beaverton, Oregon (apparently it's 24 hours partially at police request
- it gives them a place to pick up coffee, and it also tends to serve as a
focal/congregating point for everyone in town). Every Tuesday night
starting at 10:30 and lasting until "whenever" there is a Bible
study in one corner. I only got to go a couple of weeks (between school
terms) but according to a friend of mine who is a more frequent attender,
it has grown practically every Tuesday.
The thing is... it was run by one or two guys... of that same age group.
Who was it who said, "Don't trust anyone over 30"? (I think it
was Timothy Leary, but I might just be having Zachmann friend flashes
here....)
