Hello Alexander,
DD>> Great advice. What are the chances of USA doing that for the
DD>> rest of the world? We hear that Russia "tampered" with the last
DD>> US elections. What about all of the tampering in other
DD>> country's elections by the USA?
ak> Of course, the US has been always interfered everywhere where it wanted
ak> to. BTW, during the mutinous events in Ukraine the top American
ak> officials openly attended barricades(!), fed the fighters with cookies
ak> and inspired them to topple Yanukovich, the then President. From the US
ak> point of view it was indeed a piece of cake. ;-)
How many nations have recognized Russia's annexation of Crimea?
Ukraine still claims Crimea as part of its own territory. And
so does most of the rest of the world. So why should Russia cling
to what is not rightfully theirs?
Mexico can make the same claim about its own territory, as the US
annexed over half of what used to be theirs. So this is nothing new
in the world of geopolitics.
Palestine is a divided land, with two peoples and three faiths.
The status of Jerusalem was deliberately left undetermined, as the
occupants of the land (Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews) own
the land. As such, the US recognizes Tel Aviv as the capital of
Israel rather than Jerusalem.
What would happen if the US (or Russia) were to recognize Jerusalem
as the capital of Israel? My guess is that all hell would break loose.
Literally.
US President Donald Trump has recently travelled to Israel.
And Russian President Vladimir Putin has also travelled there.
Wouldn't it be nice if the two of them could get together and
come up with a real peace plan for the Middle East? One that would
actually bear fruit, rather than despair?
