First of all, let me address the topic of moron breeders... I take great
offense at this statement. I have been a breeder for nine years. I am fairly
successful, consider myself very knowledgeble about the topics pertinent to
exotic parrots and birds, and am extremely ethical. I am not a *moron*.
Moreover, many of my peers among aviculturists acknowledge that I have
expertise regarding psittacines and seek my advice, just as I am smart enough
to seek advice in an area that I am unsure of or not well-versed in. I advise
YOU to get off your high-horse, swallow your pride and accept some advice.
Secondly, let me address the behaviour involved in direct-attack type posts
of this kind. The type of behaviour I am observing in regard to these posts
is that of mud-slinging adolescents. I am appalled that adults would respond
or behave in this manner. THIS is how bird-breeders and bird-owners get
classed as wierdos.
Thirdly, the gentleman was correct in that you SHOULD have called or written
if there was a problem with an order. The Better Business Bureau and the
agency overseeing occupational licenses in your state exist to accept your
complaint. This echo does not exist to air your dirty laundry. It is for the
enjoyment of PARROTS. I am surprised that the moderator has not nipped this
off at the bud.
Lastly, let me add a word of warning-- you might want to be careful how you
make accusational and/or slanderous statements on a public forum. It could be
interpreted as slander or worse, libel, in a court of law.
Additionally, your grammer, spelling, and punctuation need remediation.
Sincerely,
Barbara Howell
