(Continued from previous message)
CH> Ex 30:8 And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at the evening, he
> shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD
> throughout your generations. {lighteth: or setteth up: Heb.
> causeth to ascend} {at even: Heb. between the two evenings}
> * and when Aaron sets up the lamps in the evening, he shall
> burn it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your
> generations.
Again, this was done at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, or in the twain of
the evenings.
CH> And here also, it is self explanatory, for why would Aaron even
> think about lighting the lamps at any other time?
The incense that Aaron will burn upon the lamps, is a perpetual
incense. Therefore, the lamps, once lit, are to burn continually, day
and night. The reasoning that Aaron would not light them during the
day does not fit, for, this light was not lit for the purpose of
"lighting a room" because it is dark. The lamp was lit a 3 p.m. as a
perpetual burning of YaHVaH's eternal light. At least, that is what it
was meant to represent.
CH> * And in the morning watch the LORD in the pillar of fire and
> of cloud looked down upon the host of the Egyptians, and
> discomfited the host of the Egyptians,
YaHVaH went before them as a pillar of fire when it was night or dark
out. This would indicate that, again, what is called morning, does not
always represent the "light" part of the day. Someone calls you at
2:00 a.m., while it is still pitch dark, you may say, Hey! It's 2
o'clock in the morning!
CH> So as we can see from the above, The Bible does truly interpret
> Itself and does clearly show when the Biblical day begins and
> ends, viz., sunset to sunset! Therefore, all other times must,
> of necessity, come from the doctrines and commandments of men!
On contraire, the Bible emphatically, states that the day begins and ends
from even to even, or 12 noon to 12 noon. Unfortunately, because of
Jewish fables, we wrongly interpret scripture to say otherwise. Yet
close scrutiny will show the truth concerning the sabbath. Brother,
their is much more proof, too much to be able to record in conference
messaging. Lets not give up on this. Lets keep talking until we are
both satisfied.
