TimEd has an Import File option (as well as a Write to File option.)
When you are entering a message you can press F1 to get the help screen.  The
proper keystrokes are listed there.  I _think_ they are CTRL-I.  TimEd will
prompt you for the file name and location.  You then edit and save the
message.
