PC hardware, software and networking products, and is the largest
circulation computer publication in the world.  It guides the brand and
product choices of more than 1.1million readers, sets the standards for
product testing, and offers more authoritative product evaluations in every
category than any other computer magazine.

PC Magazine Labs in Foster City, CA has 3 immediate openings for qualified
computer professionals.

PROJECT LEADER (PL):

The PL is the key technical position in PC Labs.  The PL is a member of a
core PC Magazine review team and reports directly to the Technical
Director.  The PL is responsible for setting the direction on how a
comparative product review will be performed.  PLs create - with input from
their editorial counterpart - the testing methodology.  The PL is
responsible for ensuring that any methodology used on their team follows an
accurate, appropriate, and reproducible model.

REQUIREMENTS:  BS in EE or Computer Science preferred.  Strong
understanding of PC hardware and software architecture.  Strong knowledge
of networking - NetWare and Windows NT.  Strong DOS/NOS knowledge required;
OS/2 experience preferred.  Strong knowledge of Windows 3.1/95 and all
popular Windows office products.  Ability to supervise testing personnel.
Ability to develop, analyze, and summarize performance testing for hardware
and software systems.
