Mercury is reactive with the ions of the protein cell, I'm not sure what
research you are inquiring about, there is the mercury research "Chronic
effects of Mercury" a russian translation, I don't have the diabetic
reference,
then there is the new Aids..Fisons that is the same reaction and Pions in Mad
Cow disease, however these are fairly new and I wait for further info.
Detection has caused the very slow process of understanding, hopefully all
he
specific researchers will start watching over their shoulders at other
projects.
