TT> James,
Hello Tracee,
TT> This isn't a serious question, but I've always been
This is a good thing after a day like today my brain couldn't handle a
"serious" question!!
TT> curious.....have you or anyone you know in your field ever had to
TT> assist a woman who'd exaggerated an injury just to get the attention of
TT> a male EMT?
Actually Tracee, you bring up a good point.. Personnaly I have seen it work
both ways.. I have seen women who have done this, as well as men.. Case in
point back when I worked in Oklahoma I had abdominal pain call on a young
lady at the local college that got a LOT worse when me and my partner (He was
a GQ type) arrived.. In the same token I've seen men do a simular "stunt"
hen
I've worked with female EMT's as partners...... Matter of fact a good friend
of mine and ex-partner... Is now married to a person who done just what
your talking about... Seems it worked anyway!!!!
