HA> Is it possible to convert a QB program to windows visual basic? HA> Only needs basic screen funktions such as, print, locate HA> etc. - and input inkey$ MM> Good question ! MM> I have one or two QB proggies that could move happily into using > Windows, but have never got round to asking what's involved. MM> Might there not be a converting programme somewhere that reads a > QB and spits out a VB version for testing and tidying ? MM> Any thoughts, anybody ? I have Visual Basic for DOS, and you would create your interface, and then plugin your QB code as necessary to get the results you desire. I haven't used Visual Basic for windows, but have used the equivalent in another language. You can create quite a bit without ever typing a bit of code. -- SPEED 2.01 #2289: --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
