The Rap Sheet - from the Crimefighter
Special Streaming Video Edition #14
10/16/2K3

Before I start rapping, I would like to state that free speech in this
country has taken a MAJOR blow. If you ever wanted to say what you think to
anyone about anything, you better be prepared to fight to the death cause
they will come and CRUCIFY YOU! If you don't believe me, ask Rush Limbaugh.
And if Donovon McNabb doesn't have a winning season or make the playoffs, we
conservatives will be demanding apologies from all these liberal
sportswriters. Free speech with consequences isn't free speech at all. The
Crimefighter has his nightstick ready to defend himself from anyone who
tries to crucify me, cause bustin' ain't easy! Speaking of people blasting
those who speak their mind...

"The Gunslinger" who represents Pipervision decided to get all mad and
obnoxious at me following a review of a GIWA match in Streaming Video Review
#11 and posted the following:

CF: "Ahem...I have watched pro wrestling since Wrestlemania One and heck no
I wouldn't want to become a pro wrestler."
GS: "'I've watched all the WrestleMania's' bhahhahahahhahahahahhahahahhaha
Little man do you even have enough money to purchase (not rent) all the
WrestleMania's?"

Gunslinger makes two grand assumptions, one that I've watched EVERY
Wrestlemania (WRONG) and I do this as my primary source of income. I never
claimed to have seen every Wrestlemania, I said I started watching wrestling
since Wrestlemania One which refers to the point in TIME when I started
watching, not WHAT I've watched since then. Thus, I started watching in
1985 or so. Secondly, I write these sheets AS A HOBBY. He doesn't have a
clue who I am or what I do for a living but that doesn't stop him from
making big assumptions. And to be blunt, I'll bet he's NEVER used a firearm
and the only thing he's ever shot off is his mouth, which would make him the
"Tongueslinger". Moving on to another stupid comment:

GS: "You can't even afford a real hosting company. You have to use
tripod???!?? If you want people to take anything you say seriously, you
first have to take yourself serious and putting a site up at tripod isn't
the first step in that direction."

So what if I'm using Tripod? Why should I pay for web page space when I can
get it for free instead of paying so many bucks a month? It's a WASTE of
money. The only reason that I should pay for webpage space is if I was
running a commercial business and sell products through the Internet, which
I don't. And I could get some space from my ISP for free because I am a
subscriber, but the downside is if I change ISPs, I lose the space and I
have to go around and update the links on every search engine I am listed
with. And THAT is a royal pain in the arse. I've had to do that at least
twice, first with the greatly despised Geocities of the infamous
superimposed branding logos that you see on EVERY TV channel now, then with
NBCi that bought out XOOM then closed it down cause they apparently didn't
know what they got themselves into buying the company in the first place.
And all my reports go to the Usenet newsgroup rec.sport.pro-wrestling.info
which brings me to the next dumb thing he said:

GS: "Uh...hey buddy...you have 97 hits...TOTAL!!! I'll let you look up what
HITS are on the internet. (HINT) They are not the number of people that have
looked at your site. You yourself could cause 97 hits on 1 website a day."

I just put the counter on the site recently so of course it's going to be a
low number, and the counter is set up in a way where it only counts one
visit per session, not by how many times you hit the reload button. But
that's besides the point, because I post all the reports to the wrestling
newsgroups and the websites of the promotions I review the shows on, where
they can be read and the Rap Sheet Dossier is merely an archival site. And
I don't expect high traffic because the site is geared toward readers in the
central Illinois area, not a national audience!

GS: "I noticed....after seeing Mr. T you became a wrestling fan?
BHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH - nuff said!"

And just what made you start watching? The WWF has used the celebrity
tie-in for years and it's snagged in more than a few people, that cannot be
denied otherwise the WWF wouldn't do it. And finally the last stupid
comment:

GS: "Do me a favor, save yourself from future embarrassement and close your
website immediatly---your the reason that web designers are having a hard
time finding work, because people think you actually pay someone to put that
thing together."

I WORK in the information technology field, people seek MY ASSISTANCE with
end user problems and the problems get fixed. I don't NEED a web designer.
Lastly, take a look at this list and see that there's a number of wrestlers
and promotions that are using places like Tripod:
http://www.1wrestling.com/columns/web/default.asp?B1=View+Column By the
way, I don't give a XXXX'in XXXX if you don't like the appearance of the
page. Why should I put up a graphics/java intensive site for some
hot-headed jackarse that has his six-shooter jammed up way up his pie-hole
the way HE thinks it's supposed to look? I won't, cause I don't want to and
I don't NEED to. It serves it's function and it functions the exact way I
want it to.

It continued from there, "Tongueslinger" shoots off his mouth and
challenges
me to a wrestling match but any matches with me or anyone else will have to
stay as a war of words cause I have no desire to be a wrestler. Another
individual has a personal problem with ANYONE who reviews a match good or
bad cause he wants to judge for himself. Well then, WHY THE FREAKIN' HECK
ARE YOU GOING OUT AND READING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY??? Hey, Vince McMahon
pretty much does the same thing, ignores reviews...and cause he's not paying
any attention as to what many are saying are the problems with the WWE
booking the shows are getting worse and worse and the buyrates smaller and
smaller, but Vince sits there completely clueless as to why attendance is
lower and lower. The big hole in his complaint though is that HE'S ALREADY
SEEN THE MATCH FIRST BEFORE READING THE REVIEW! So he ALREADY KNOWS what to
think about what he saw. So the problem really is that he has a problem
with someone who watched the same stuff he did and didn't like the reactions
of the other viewer! But the real message is this, if you're gonna review
something and didn't like what you saw, if you post a negative review to
where the person's match was held, you're gonna get blasted, fairly or
unfairly. The idea of getting any publicity at all good or bad is lost upon
these people.

More videos are showing up for me to download, even if it is from just a
couple of sites and it's all WWF and WCW videos. I shall soon start
reviewing matches offered on www.clickwrestle.com which is a site that
offers matches for download either streamed for free or $2 for downloading
to a file. I have resisted doing reviews of the matches there cause the
first one I tried to view had the bit rate at 512K which is higher than DSL
can handle without frequent pausing for the buffer.

Georgia Independent Wrestling Association out of Georgia

Mad Mac Davis vs. "Platinum Playboy" Preston Paradise

World Wrestling Federation out of Connecticut

One Man Gang vs. Mario Mancini
"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Koko B. Ware
Marty Jennetty & Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Lombardi & Tom
"Rocky" Stone
Razor Ramon vs. Big Van Vader
Yokozuna vs. The Undertaker - Casket Match
Giant Gonzalez vs. The Undertaker - Rest in Peace Match
The Undertaker vs. Kane - Inferno Match

Leading off we have this new match from the Georgia Independent Wrestling
Alliance at http://www.madmacdavis.com. Video package airs first, showing
scenes of a fight outside with PPPP, Davis and Glacier, then scenes from
their last cage match. Diamond Dave interviews PPPP, PPPP talks about a
Lier Jet and two stooges eating all his expensive food and he's gonna beat
them up. He calls Davis an old man, and will end his career. His shirt
reads Got Me? he'll do your body good. He then tells Diamond Dave to get
out.

GIWA Heavyweight Championship - Cage Match
"Platinum Playboy" Preston Paradise 220lbs. Jacksonville, FL w/ Precious
Platinum & Big Bank Barfield vs. Mad Mac Davis 205lbs. Lubbock, GA w/
Firewalker - This match was filmed by the Pipervision company on 9/27,
though Pipervision on the web is now defunct. PPPP of course is slow to get
in the cage and Davis finally jumps out of the cage and chases him inside,
but PPPP locks himself in and kicks the cage to keep Davis from climbing up
the side. One kick knocks him off and he messes up his knee. Firewalker
checks on him as PPPP mocks Davis, then exits the cage and heads toward
Davis. Whoops, he was playing possum all along. Davis attacks PPPP and
throws him back in the cage and we finally start the match. PPPP kicks
back, arm wringer, clothesline, elbow. PPPP tries a suplex and it's
blocked, Davis with a swinging neckbreaker. Davis slugs away, then PPPP
slugs back, leg drop, pickup with a headlock, Davis with a belly to back
into the fence. Davis with the cheesegrater! Davis charges with a headbutt
to the gut of PPPP against the cage, Davis is down. PPPP is up first and
slugs Davis down. Pickup, another hard right hand. PPPP with a suplex,
then a choke on the mat. PPPP with a choke, then rams him in the corner.
PPPP pickup, side belly to back suplex, grabs the legs and drops a low
headbutt. PPPP slugs away, Davis with a trip and he punches away on PPPP's
head. Davis to the middle rope, flying elbow misses. PPPP pulls Davis's
arm behind his neck and does a flatliner variation. Leg drop by PPPP and
applies a wristlock. PPPP pickup, chop, whip clothesline misses, Davis hits
a clothesline, then rams PPPP's head into the mat. Davis whip into the
fence, then a spinebuster. PPPP with a rake, to the corner, chops, Davis
reverses, double chops, whip splash in the corner by Davis. Another one
misses and Davis goes face first into the cage. PPPP appears to have gotten
something in his hand from somewhere, he drops a fist from the middle rope.
Firewalker gets into a fight with Big Bank Barton on the outside and applies
the Code Red. PPPP has removed his street clothesline, charge and hits a
knee to the back, then cheesegraters the face of Davis. PPPP chokes Davis
with his warm-up pants, then stomps away. Now a chair got into the cage
somehow! Paradise sets it up in the middle of the ring, whip side slam into
the chair that destroys the chair, ouch. Shoulders aren't down, PPPP
celebrates what he just did, ram to the corner, PPPP punches and kicks away,
Davis comes to life and beats him down, fetches the broken chair, reshapes
it on the mat, Death Valley Driver on the chair! Davis puts the chair in
the corner, rams PPPP into the chair. Davis points up, then starts climbing
the cage slowly, PPPP is up, he grabs Davis, tries to powerbomb him off the
top rope, but Davis with a hurraconranna off the top! Davis slugs away,
PPPP catches him in a side rib breaker. PPPP with a leg choke, then a hand
choke. PPPP walks around to pose, pickup, takedown, hey Davis is handcuffed
to the bottom rope! PPPP is on the top rope but does not leave the cage and
goes to stomp on Davis some more. PPPP just takes his time, now climbs to
the top rope again, has one foot over but he STOPS AGAIN! PPPP drops down
and hits Davis with a chair and kicks away. PPPP climbs up again, Big Bank
tries to climb up the cage, PPPP argues with Firewalker then drops down into
the ring again. Guess he doesn't want to win that bad. Davis is free,
where'd he get a key? Spear Davis. Tarp is all torn up in the middle of
the ring. PPPP gets back up and clobbers Davis in the corner like a boxer,
uppercut. PPPP mocks him, Davis goes low uses the cuffs as a weapon then
locks PPPP on the bottom rope. Davis has the chair and whacks him with it.
Davis makes sure he can't get free, take the chair, stands over him then
throws it down. Davis heads for the door, PPPP has gotten free somehow,
charges with the chair but Davis throws a forearm and knocks him out and
drops to the floor for the win and the title. Davis says something on the
house mike, PPPP throws the ref into the fence and Davis and PPPP have
another brawl on the outside. The faces come in the cage and celebrate the
title win. Replay of the finish is shown from another angle. This appeared
to be a lot better than their previous cage match.

WINNER and NEW CHAMP: Mad Mac Davis KO -> 20:55 mins. **¾

That’s all the indy stuff I have this time, so let’s go to the plethora of
streaming videos from the WWF. First up, a couple of matches a new site
I've found, and it has a lot at
http://www.btinternet.com/~ogeese_classics/wwf_wcw_classics.html with
shockingly a whole PPV from last year and a bunch of old WWF promos.

One Man Gang w/ Slick vs. Mario Mancini - This was from a Saturday Night's
Main Event site from August of 1998. Mancini I don't believe did anything
of note in the wrestling business, other than be fodder for super
heavyweights. The gang clobbers Mario to the mat, then chokes him on the
ropes, and flings him off. OMG drops a big elbow, and slugs some more.
Oliver Humperdink cuts a promo against the gang. Knee lift, boot ot the
face, then OMG finishes him off with the 747 aka a face first suplex and
wins it easily. Total squash.

WINNER: One Man Gang pin -> 1:30 mins. DUD

"Ravishing" Rick Rude w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan vs.
"The Birdman" Koko B.
Ware w/ Frankie - Rude cuts his classic spouting of shut up so the women can
see my body crap. This was also from the same Saturday Night's Main Event
site. Koko pretty much served as the first major opponent for any debuting
wrestler in the WWF in the years he was there. Joined in progress, lockup
to the corner, Rude slugs away, elbow to the back and hits him repeatedly in
the lower back stopping only to pose. Rude snap suplex, to the top, flying
punch then poses for the camera again. Rude chokes Koko on the ropes in
front of Frankie. Rude whip dropkick then poses again. Rude whip second
drop kick misses, Koko whip back body drop Rude lands on his knees, Koko
with a charge and Rude dodges hitting the top rope neck first. Rude with
the Rude Awakening inverted neckbreaker and it's over. Total squash.

WINNER: "Ravishing" Rick Rude pin -> 3:05 mins. shown *¼

The Rockers - Marty Jennetty & Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Lombardi & Tom
"Rocky" Stone - Lombardi at this time hasn't transformed into the Brooklyn
Brawler, and the Rockers were making their WWF television debut a year after
they were supposed to appear originally before a mishap kept them stuck in
the AWA and in Memphis. Tom Stone was another regular lay-down man for the
AWA and WWF, but managed to get one major WWF victory against Jake "The
Snake" Roberts albeit by DQ and when Roberts just came back after being
blinded by a perfume shot to the eyes. The Rockers for this match were
using their AWA music "Rocking Out to Midnight" by Judas Priest. Shawn and
Stone start, hammerlock, Stone sends Shawn to his corner to hold by Lombardi
and hits his man by mistake. Whip tag Marty flip off Stone, hip toss, Marty
arm drag, Steve's in and gets arm dragged and drop kicked out. Stone is
slingshotted in, Stone with a rake and a tag Lombardi. Marty armdrag,
Lombardi arm wringer, Marty flips off the ropes to get out of it, slam
Marty, arm wringer, reversed, reversed again, tag Shawn, double whip double
hip toss, double elbow. Stone in and gets slugged. Shawn backbreaker on
Lombardi, tag Marty, whip dropkick. Marty whip, back elbow, tag Shawn,
double whip double punch. Shawn snap mare, flying punch, elbow, Steve
punches back, turnbuckle smash, slam Lombardi, he goes up and gets slammed
off. Stone in, Shawn slugs him, tag Marty suplex crossbody combo and it's
all over. Another squash but pretty spirited.

WINNERS: The Rockers pin -> 3:10 mins. *½

Now let's jump to these bouts from www.wrestlinghit.com which may or may not
be there now.

"The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon 240lbs. Tampa, FL vs. Big Van Vader 400
lbs. Rocky
Mountains w/ Jim Cornette - This is from In Your House 7 and Razor Ramon is
better known as Scott Hall. Vader poses as Razor throws the toothpick at
Jimmy. Lockup, shove to the outside by Vader. Lockup another shove by
Vader. Lockup to the corner, Razor escapes. Lockup, punches to the gut by
Vader, headbutts, and punches him to the mat. Lockup, Vader forearms him
repeatedly, until Razor tries to fire back but gets knocked down. Short arm
clothesline Vader. Vader whip clotheslines miss, hard punch Ramon, he goes
for the Razors Edge but gets backdropped outside. Razor back in and slugs
away in the corner, Vader is up and Razor floors him with a punch. Razor
two clotheslines, then he clotheslines him outside. Vader stalls outside,
Cornette is on the apron getting Razor’s attention, Vader in, Razor attacks
Vader, whip reverse splash Vader, clothesline. Vader drops an elbow to the
knee, splash gets two. Vader slugs away, short arm clothesline missed, side
belly to back suplex Razor gets two. Vader punches back, drop slam, Vader
goes up, Vader Bomb gets two. Vader with a headbutt, side belly to back
suplex, knee to the gut, slugaway in the corner, suplex attempt blocked,
Razor with a suplex gets two. Vader with a clothesline, snap mare, Vader on
the ropes, Razor slams him off gets two. Razor whip clothesline, whip
reversed, Vader eats a boot, bulldog off the middle rope by Razor gets two.
Razor charges, but Vader double forearms him down. Sloppy snap mare Vader,
he climbs up, Razor up, tries the Razor’s Edge but he’s too heavy and drops
him. Vader with a slam, goes up again, to the top, Razor takes him on his
shoulders and drops him on his back. Razor goes for the finisher, Vader
backdrops Razor, sits on him and wins it.

WINNER: Big Van Vader pin -> 14:45 mins. **

Inferno Match
Kane 326lbs. Parts Unknown w/ Paul Bearer vs. The Undertaker 328lbs. Death
Valley, CA - This is from Unforgiven 1998. Rules are simple for this match,
first person that catches on fire is the loser. Taker has changed his
appearance by the time of this match, complete with painted tear under his
right eye. The burners are lit up, Taker attacks Kane and slugs away in the
corner, Kane reverses and punches away, Taker whip big splash. Taker arm
wringer, rope walk, and forearm shot and the flames shoot up. Taker whip,
Kane tries to backdrop him outside but he lands inside the ring. Kane
slugaway, whip clothesline. Kane choke on the ropes, hair yank to the mat.
Kane tries to push Taker into the fire, Taker with an eye poke. Taker whip
reverse powerslam Kane, forearm shot, choke, flames shoot upward, a chair is
tossed in and Kane whacks him with it. Kane rams Taker into the corner,
Taker with a kick, Kane slugs back, every shot causes the fire to flame up.
Kane whip to the corner, choke, whip charge Kane eats a knee. Taker Russian
leg sweep, elbow drop, whip each goes for the chokeslam, Kane lands his.
Kane with a pickup, Taker slips away and chokeslams Kane. Taker whip
reverse double boots knock them both out. Kane's up first, Taker's up,
Taker whip reverse Taker clothesline misses. Kane with a side slam, goes to
the top, Taker shakes the ropes and crotches Kane. Taker gives Kane a
superplex that engulfs the ring with flames. Taker throws Kane over the top
rope, misses getting burned. Kane's leaving, Vader comes out of nowhere and
brawls with Kane in the aisle. Taker with a suicide dive takes both of them
out. Paul Bearer has a chair, Taker punches Kane, Bearer with a chairshot
that has no effect, Taker nails Kane with the chair. Taker goes after
Bearer and chases him to the rock band stage, and slams a drum on his head
and jams a mike stand into his chest. Bearer is bleeding. Taker heads back
to the ring, Kane has a chair, Taker blocks it and kicks Kane who stumbles
back into the flamers and catches his arm on fire! It's over, Taker poses
in the ring as the flames shoot upward providing a stunning visual. This
hasn't been given favorable reviews by others, but it's recommended viewing
as one of a kind.

WINNER: The Undertaker KO -> 16 mins. **½

Moving on we jump to these offerings that came from www.wrestlingzone.ru
which are also being rotated out every week.

WWF Heavyweight Championship - Casket Match
(c)Yokozuna w/ Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji vs. The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer -
Ah this is the infamous match from Royal Rumble 1994 that was deemed the
worst match of the year for the looney and unbelievable overbooking that
went on during this bout. Yokozuna by the way, had his management write up
all the title defense contracts where wrestlers would get their one single
title match and never get a rematch after that. Yokozuna just refused to
defend his title against the number one contenders and frankly I would had
stripped him of the belt and fired his rear to send the message that the
champ does not decide his challengers, it's the championship committee that
decide the challengers, period. The sad thing is, the president at that
time was Gorilla Monsoon who had just taken the place of the clueless moron
Jack Tunney. This match, was signed with the stip that this is the ONLY
title match the Undertaker will get against Yoko. The 600 pound wuss was
terrified of Taker at this time. This is a casket match, the winner must
stuff the loser in the box and it's no DQ, no countout, no pinfall. Yoko
charges and crashes in the corner, Taker hits three clotheslines then a
throat thrust to send him out. Yoko rams Taker into the stairs, Taker
no-sells and rams him into the steps. Back in, Taker armwringer, rope walk,
flying forearm shot. Taker charges and misses a flying knee. Yoko with a
chair, Taker steals it and whacks him in the head. Vince McMahon and Ted
Dibiase are doing commentary. Yoko grabs a handful of salt and throws it in
the face of Taker. Yoko whacks him with a chair. Headbutt, stair ram, toss
in by Yoko, clothesline. Yoko rolls Taker toward the coffin, doesn't quite
get him in before Taker gets up and slugs away at him. Yoko with a belly to
belly, which Taker shrugs off, and does a chokeslam, barely. Taker whip
reverse, Taker with what looked to be a DDT. Taker signals for the coffin
to be opened, Taker rolls Yoko toward it and he's in! Crush comes out of
nowhere to attack Taker before he closes the lid, forearm shot by Taker
sends him out of the ring. Two Japanese guys come in to attack next, Taker
double clotheslines them down. Bam Bam Biglow tries his hand next, but now
the four thugs quadruple team Taker. Mr. Fuji and Paul Bearer fight over
the urn, and he clocks Fuji and Cornette with it. Yoko is out of the
coffin, now Adam Bomb has joined the army along with Jeff Jerrett and it's
six on one. The Samoan Swat Team are in the ring joining the brawl and it's
EIGHT on one. Note that NO ONE has come to the aid of the Taker. The heels
have beaten down Taker and force him into the coffin but he fights out.
Yoko KO's Paul Bearer and steals the urn, he opens it, green smoke billows
out. Crush suplexes Taker, Jerrett with a flying forearm shot, Bam Bam with
a flying headbutt, Fatu with a splash off the top, then Samu does one. The
heels drag Taker to the coffin and Yoko kicks him in and Bam Bam lays on top
and it's over. I would had stripped Yokozuna of the title right there, what
a travsity this was. The heels roll the coffin away but smoke comes from
it, then Taker appears on the video wall supposedly from inside the coffin.
Taker gives a farewall speech, then turns into a "ghost" and the
Taker rises
up from behind the video wall. I can't rate this myself but I'll note what
someone else gave it. Thankfully Bret Hart ended this ridicious title reign
of dodging contenders. Remarkably this match was not voted worst of 1994,
somehow Steve Austin vs. Jim Duggan got the nod.

WINNER and STILL CHAMP: Yokozuna KO -> 14:05 mins. -****

Giant Gonzalez 450lbs. Argentina w/ Harvey Whippleman vs. The Undertaker
328lbs. Death Valley, CA - This is from Summerslam 1993. Harvey has
possession of the urn, and Bobby Heenan says he urned it. I never liked El
Gigante as a heel. Taker goes to the attack slugging away, chokes him in
the corner. Harvey up to draw him away. Taker eats a boot from Gonzalez,
whip clothesline misses, Taker tries a clothesline and he doesn't go down, a
third and Taker is floored. Giant throws Taker outside, slugfest, Gonzalez
with a rake and a stair ram. The giant fetches a chair and whacks him with
it. Wonder who would had won between El Gigante and The Big Show? The
giant whips Taker into the stairs. Gonzalez throws him back in, Taker tries
to grab the urn but is pulled back. The giant clubs him with forearms,
Taker fires back before being knocked down again. Giant whip to the corner,
Taker crumples to the mat. Gonzalez drags him away from the urn, Paul
Bearer comes out from the back with a black wreath. Harvey removes his
jacket, charges and Bearer knocks him out. Taker whip clothesline Gonzalez
as Bearer has the urn again. Gonzalez with a slam, sees Bearer and jaws
with him until Taker gets up. Taker slugs away, four clotheslines don't
take him down, Taker up top for a flying clothesline and that gets the pin.
Gonzalez is mad at Harvey for losing the urn, and gives him a chokeslam
before putting the black wreath over his body. Gonzalez puts in an
appearance in a battle royal at the following RAW then leaves the sport for
good. Undertaker has ended more careers than anyone, not by injuring them,
but by having just the worst possible match with them and cause he's Taker,
he stays and the other guy is always fired. The Wrestlemania 9 match they
had prior to this was graded -***, and this feud was voted the worst of
1993.

WINNER: The Undertaker pin -> 8:05 mins. ¼*

Hmmmm...not much of note in the pile I gathered this time around, I
basically threw in the short matches I found just to round this thing off
and get it out. Next time, a look at some of the offerings at
www.clickwrestle.com. Until next time, bustin' ain't easy, but whipping
Tongueslinger in a debate is too freakin' easy!
