No, Dornier claimed a ceiling of about 4000 ft (probably not fully loaded)
with the later reengined Curtiss-powered version, still not quite much,
either. 3000 ft have definitely been reached.
With MTOW the flying ship operated much of its time within ground effect,
about 150 ft or less.
Dornier claimed a ceiling for the last Fiat-powered version of 10000 ft.
True or not?
