Well, it seems that the discrepancy is universal. I found that the sectors
in question were the first 4096 of the last 4100 sectors on the drive (the
last four sectors being the last freespace bitmap on the drive).
I've also found that with at least one version of HPFS386, sector I/O mode
isn't supported. DosFSCtl() returns an unknown function error.
So, I'll have to stumble around DosDevIOCtl() once again, and see if I
can't properly deal with primary partitions.
