subject: Problems

I just installed a new Plug & Play 33.6 modem. It works great, but my DOS
communications programs don't work very well with it. When I first
installed it, it was on COM 3. I went into Telemate, changes the settings
to what Windows 95 told me were the settings for my modem. This caused
a conflict between my mouse and modem, and it wouldn't recognize my modem.
After disabling my mouse, I tried again. No luck. I finally changed the
settings on my modem to where it was on COM 5. Now Telemate will dial out,
but once I'm connected, it won't do anything. If anybody has any ideas,
please let me know. If you prefer to reply via e-mail, just send it to
pdrop@arn.net. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Later,
Chris
