    Hmm... I should go through my box of modems
and pick out a couple to keep as spares.  I'm having my landline phone
service discontinued on February 4th but I think I can call modems from my
cellphone.  I imagine it's an ISDN call until it reaches the destination
switch where there's a modem pool...or something.
