I know a few people who've got broadband & have asked the "which
distro is for me?" & my usual answer is "One which has a live
cd".....coz it allows you to d/l say your top 3 choices & give em
a go on your hardware...have a lok at what's on baord etc & then go for
the distro of your choice.

i.e. find one which finds all your h/w & sets it up & plump for
that for the install
