Sounds more like a bug in Bink.  I'm running an external Courier, with the 
latest X2/V90 code with Front Door and am having no problems with it.  I have 
run this setup under Windows 95, 95a, 95b and many builds of 98 without 
seeing a problem like this.  I also use this modem to connect to two 
different ISP's and don't have a problem.
