subject: Strange directories

I have noticed in Irex v2.31 that when I set up the outbound directory as
c:\irex\out\ the other directories appear. For instance, I receive FidoNet
mail from my hub (3634) and setting his outbound directory as c:\irex\out\3634
\ I get another directory pop up c:\irex\out.06f\

Now, I know that 06f is HEX for 3634, but why does it appear? Another hub is
57, and his outbound directory is set for c:\irex\out\57\ and I have another
one pop up as c:\irex\out.039\. Again, 039 is HEX for 57. But why are these
directories appearing? The ones I have set for them are NEVER used.

Thanks
