BL> It won't take much to throw me, what with all the stuff Brenton BL> puts in... it took me a week to work out what ">nul" did. JG> Hmmm, I guess that could cause problems if you've never dealt JG> with the NUL device before. I'm sure it's mentioned in a manual JG> somewhere :-) AaaarrrrggggHH! I wish you hadn't said that! I bought a legal copy of M$DOS6, and the manual is a heap of shit! So I spent another $25 and bought the command summary, and it's a heap of shit too. And then unspeakable M$ "upgraded" to DOS6.2 and my book is out of date. Bastards! I'm still using the Novell DRDOS6 book, which is excellent, BTW, but it doesn't always make sense for MSDOS6.2 - and an old Olivetti DOS3.3 book. M$ seems to be getting worse. The only thing I like about them is their books. As far as I am concerned, M$ is in the book publishing business; I can always steal the software.
