subject: C Set/2 & Toolkit

In a determined effort to finally crack 'C', I have re-installed C Set/2
v1, and am going through Herbert Schildt's 'Teach Yourself C', and using
ICC from the command line to build the programs in the exercises.

What I can't work out is, whether I need the toolkit to be able to compile
programs. The linker seems to require OS2386.LIB, which AFAIK, does not
come as part of the C Set/2 product, although there is no mention in the
User's Guide about any requirement to install the toolkit.

What am I missing here? Maybe I just need to override the default compiler options...

John
