Not to beat this dead horse, but a) FidoNET has no such limitation.  In
fact, FTSs *specifically* list messages as "unbounded"...   Logically,
there must be a limit (on a clear disk you can seek forever), and a
de-facto standard has been 64k for a LONG time (QMail and its deritives
 have set that in place)..
"You DOS-diehards" may want to ponder getting a new (and a bit more
compliant) OLR or moving up to a linux box...
As usual, your milage may vary...
