Hi All,
Can some kind soul enlighten me on why the following code fragment compiles
perfectly under TCLite (for dos) but generates an error under TC++ for
Windows v3.1?
ifstream filestream(FinalFileName);
filestream.seekg(-360L, SEEK_END);
while (!filestream.eof())
Compiling LOGDOS.CPP:
Error LOGDOS.CPP 49: Could not find a match for 'istream::seekg(long,int)'
What I am trying to do is to read the last 360 bytes from a file, it works
well under the DOS flavoured version, too.
Cheers
Al McLean
