Unless you are going to run a domain server, all you need is workgroup name
and it's in the Control panel -> System -> "Computer Name"
tab click the rename computer "Change" button, it allows changing
the workgroup.
fwiw, you don't have to have the same workgroup to share, that just makes
it appear in the "Network neighborhood".
