Vista Pre-RC1 B_5536:


- you cannot install if not having at least 512MB RAM - or this is only
"Ultimate" install limit ?
- inconsistencies in Windows Installer > Free Space for installation, etc.
- more then one deletion of the same folder possible - inconsistencies in
"Items remaining" and Space req. to delete
        - "speed" not popullating
- Add/Remove Programs and Windows Modules/Components is the same option,
different names all over the place
- when choosing country, again you cannot input in example "cr" for
"croatia"
- old files from old partition are left in the Root of the install partition
- you still cannot copy from UAC (User Acc. Control), Copy/Delete, etc.
dialogs making basic users again in problems of getting and displaying
errors/problems to third party (!!!)
- even with 1G RAM (and lotta services off) it is sluggish - still, its RC -
but its more faster then Beta 2! (!!!)
- Performance tab in task manager under Physic. Mem displayes 0 for Free Mem
? Well ...
- regular user can change Display settings, thus effecting Login screen and
Desktop settings from ALL other users on the system
        - there is no even "P" of an "personalize" in
this option!



*** Nice:

- Reliability Monitor
- Copy Path (right clik on sub-sub-sub-sub folder gets the path :)
- loads of diagnostics, very-very-very handy! - easy to understand! (!!!)
- Task Manager Rules!
        - got services tab > map process to service
        - network tab have: Tab always active!
- Shrink and Expand on simple Volumes is still working! (!!!) :)))
- Group Policy - Security Options got "Explain" tab - very nice!
- wim_s and X_Image + PE in additonal tools rocks.

Well, checked other interesting stuff and components. Some I find very
useful and nice, overall system stabillitiy is awasome (couldnt crash
explorer.exe ?! :)) .. I really tried!:))), still, Windows are still only
Windows and when I see the price .. I'm not sure ...
