II>You should have recveived it by now, as it was Snailed last Monday or
II>Tuesday.
Yup. It got here in only two days, can you believe that?
II>I believe that the 2 resistors which cooked and fell off the board may be
II>missing. I looked for them but couldn't locate them. (Apparently they
II>fell out when I had it on the shelf with several other items). I hope
II>you can find service literature on it, since both resistors were so cooked
II>that the value could not be determined either with an ohmmeter or by
II>reading the color code.
I wondered about that, since I was expecting to get all the parts. But
I guess if they were that cooked, there's no point in complaining. I do
wish you'd have packed it better though. A couple inches of packing
material on each side is standard, and might have kept the mounting post
(where the screw goes to hold it together) from breaking when they
dropped the box. It looks like I'm going to have to buy the manuals
from Motorola (expen$ive), since I'm not having any luck finding them
elsewhere. It's amazing how much it costs to get an inexpensive radio
on the air!
