Hello John, Thanks for responding!
Tekram is made by American Megatrends Inc., who make bios chips for many
quality motherboards. Being an owner of Adaptec's and Tekram's I know that
in many ways they are better than AHA 2940's. Bought with Win's 3.1, 95,
OS/2, and Netware drivers equivalent to EZSCSI, so I'll pass on your offer!
JA> BTW, ask Howard if he ever got my NETMAIL as he never responded
JA> to my offer to trade a Brand new (still packaged) Maxtor EIDE
JA> 2.1g and a 14o 640x480x256) with excellent picture for the
JA> Barracuda and the 2920 he advertized for you before.
Considering that I'll be exchanging a $579.00 dollar drive of current
manufacture, this offer too is unappealing. I can get 640x 480 VGA's as
warranted refurb's for $75.00 and new 2.1 Gig IDE's locally for $189.00
myself. Total cost $254.00. I can sell the Barracuda for that, or at the
least come close.
I will agree to trade a Barracuda alone for them. Otherwise I think pass,
Thanks for the interest, and let me know what you decide.
