Actually HE suggested I keep it "incase another one comes in that I could use parts from". I kinda laughed at him and told him that I don't use parts out of one customers machine in an attempt to fix another. (which I don't - as it takes too long and I end up with two broken machines) He then suggested that I might get another machine in that is also not worth repairing and I could make one good one out of the two.. I admitted that this was possible, but that these machines are usually so reliable that they rarely get scrapped.. He just doesn't seem to appreciate that this is one of those one in a million type faults. :-( BL> It's easier to tell him to fuck off. I tried that.. not in those words though. BL> Tell him he's got an unfixable VCR... and he'll take it to some kid I have. Well, I told him that I'm not going to spend any more money on it and that if he wants me to perserveer with it then he's gunna be parting with his money up front.
