(Maybe this solves some reliability problems!) They probably want to use current support chips for the CPU, and those chips no longer support PS/2 connectivity. btw, I have an Avocent USB/DVI/audio KVM and it works very well. Avocent has very good customer support. This one: http://www.avocent.com/web/en.nsf/Content/SwitchViewDVI-4port It handles the 1680x1050 resolution of my 20" widescreen excellently. I shot a 3/4" static discharge into the KVM (accidentally). I sent an email to Avocent and said "it stopped working". They cross-shipped me a new one, no questions asked. /m --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 106/2000 633/267 |
