I believe GoldEd does this with any and every message base that gets packed
without GoldEd knowing about it. It's not really a fault in any of the software
being used. Golded just doesn't know (and unlikely would ever know) that you
packed and renumbered the message bases it reads with some other utility. I
would bet that if you packed the same message bases with Golded (if you could)
it would confuse the heck out of Mystic (or any software utilizing message
bases) as well.
If g00r00 could do something about it, by all means that would be great. But I
wouldn't expect it. Otherwise, I would suggest NOT packing your message bases,
or setting up a Golded as a point or node off your main system, so Golded would
have it's own message base files to do with what you please.
Regards,
Nick
