Why not both?  If the Christ is the Logos,  if Christ is the "exact
representation of His nature," if Christ is "That Prophet", He IS
Scripture and Scripture is Christ in that it express who God is.  To
make what you are saying hard and fast "would be wrong."

-monergism.  Divine grace changes the human heart, resurrecting the
sinner from a state of spiritual death to one of spiritual life.
Regenerating grace makes the sinner willing to believe and come to
Chirst.  Formerly the sinner was unwilling and not inclined to choose
Christ but upon the bestowal of grace and the baptism of the Spirit who
works His ministry of regeneration, he is not only willing but eager to
choose Christ.  The sinner is not dragged to Christ against his will or
coerced.  The grace of divine regenerationchanges the heart's
inclination in such a way as to raise the sinner from death to life,
from unbelief to faith.
