Noodle pickers?  Is that something along the lines of picking ones brains?

We see the very rare spam too, but not often.  Our system pulls in what
few echos we pick up via the Internet, stores the messages as newsgroup
entries and then we have a mailing list set up for those who have
problems accessing Fidonet any other way, which is what I use. It's just
easier for me. 

If you run into anyone having a hard time getting this echo, feel free
to send them to http://lists.videocam.net.au and they can sign up
themselves.
