Hello Wim! Replying to a message of Wim Veldhuis to Jonathan de Boyne Pollard: JdBP>> Apparently they mix const and non-const in the ternary operator, JdBP>> for one thing. WV> ternary operator ? What do you mean by that ? a ? b : c So far the Borland compilers have had the following properties 1) Good user interface 2) Loose compliance to standards (A little rookie mentality) 3) A very forgiving parser. (This isn't good when you want to write solid code) You get very few warnings about code that may be buggy. 4) A couple of bugs in the code generation that can only be found looking through the generated code. JdBP>> I'm waiting for someone to say that Borland's COMDEF extensions to JdBP>> the Intel OMF format (required for templates and virtual function JdBP>> tables) are ISO standard. It will happen one day, I'm sure of it JdBP>> ... (-: Actually there has been talk about making an Industry Standard for debug-info.
