   Don't be stupid. There's a big difference between a name and a place in
this respect, and you know it. But if someone told me that my home town
G”teborg was spelled Gothenburg in some places and Gothenburgh in other
places, I would accept both, as long as there is some kind of official
institute that says so.

   Of course they are. They both list Bern as the correct spelling. There's
some ambiguity, caused by a certain country's well documented habit, of
always ignoring the rest of the world, and insisting that their way is the
only right way. What else is new?
