To me cheap food IS junk food, but I agree when it comes to cost the junk can be expensive. Yeah. Candy ain't so cheap unless of course you by the fake (ie: wax infused artificially flavored "chocolate" candies.) By cheap food I surmise you mean what amounts to low grade starch and fat laden "foods". Yeah.. in store bakeries often sell very cheap bakery items... very poor quality. Processed foods are bad and considered junk but they're what's driving up the cost of the good foods. And yeah , they ain't cheap unless of course they're on sale (rhymes with 'stale' (yeah, preservatives give out eventually. May we also include junk for the mind? Some kinds of junk for the mind isn't cheap but it's still junk.... Take commercial TV for example. .................. Motivation comes hand in hand with self esteem. Unemployment CAN but not always: zap self-esteem. IF people have no self esteem for one reason or another (mainly because they don't want to be unemployed)- well they kinda shoot themselves in the foot don't they? Because you need besides skills, self esteem to get and keep a job. You know what the poor do though that does themselves the greatest disservice? I think you know. Cindy ...
