I thought that may have been a problem, but I have used the modem in 6
outlets in two seperate homes, and I have used the same init string with
comm programs (ie Telix, Procomm, among others). Yet Telemate is the
nly
comm program that gives me the problem with the uploads! It just drives
me up the wall, the program is so versatile (especially the multitasking
aspect of it). Believe me, I have tried to isolate the problem(s) that
may
be causing the upload problem with no success.

I, I have had to tweak the modem settings until they gave me just what
I wanted it to show me, but naturally may not be the best settings to
work with. If you don't mind, I would like to show you below my init
string, just perhaps you might see something wrong that my limited
knowledge of the intricacies of modems. BTW I am using a Supra 14.4
internal with caller id, and here is my init string:
     AT&F2S95=35S7=60#CID=1
 FB> Hope this helps!
Perhaps by looking at the init string, you might see something normally
left off or put on for others that make operation smoother.
Like I said earlier, what irks me the most is that this same init string
works with all the other comm programs, no problem with the uploads.
