  Join the club!  My husband brought home a couple of electric razors
  the he was going to repair for his Dad; I put them away, quite a
  few months ago, and now can't find them!!  We just bought him a
  new one for his birthday.
  This problem is sooooooo common!  I am on meds that make me forget
  everything.  It's gets quite embarrassing...I try not to spark up
  a conversation with people, since they may ask me something that
  I can't remember the answer to. :(

Yeah, I put things where "I'll know where they are later", and never
see them again!
