| subject: | Re: USB & PS/2 KVM switch |
From: "Gary Britt"
I don't know about Vista (and hopefully never will), but I use the Micro
Connectors, Inc. converter cable reliably on an XP Home laptop with my
trusty old Northgate Keyboard (which is an excellent test for compatibility
of the cable).
You're right that differences between the ps/2 KVM in use could be a
component in the chain. My KVM is what was being sold by Micro Center at
the time I bought it about 1.5 years ago, nothing special or extra
expensive.
