I think there is much to speculate about this.  And that is what it is
because the scriptures themselves are largely silent as to the actions
and events of eternity.  But that we receive resurrected bodies like
Christ seems to be a given seeing as how He is the representative head
of the new heavenly priesthood.

As for it happening at the time of our death, there I would tend to
take an alternative position.  I believe we are alienated from the
physical body after death up to the time that Christ comes back for His
Church.  At that time the dead are reunited with their bodies and then
transformed into a "house not made with hands."  (2 Cor 5:1)
Presently, true believers who die physical death are then "hid in
Christ."
