I have looked at as much mail as I could without creating nauseau before
reporting this to you, did not want to waste your time with a duplicate post.
I have seen it reported a few times but never saw the answer:
I have been using TM 4.20 and upgraded to 4.21 (registered-birthday present).
Ran into a problem with uploads using zmodem, that only occurs using
elemate.
I used the same init string for Telemate that has served me well in Telix,
Procomm Plus and other comm programs and when I attempt a zmodem upload I
ave
no problems. However, when I try a zmodem upload, I always get CRC errors,
(in ver 4.20) at the 26k point, every upload, with different file types being
uploaded. When I upgraded to 4.21 that changed, instead of 26k it starts
reading errors at 100k. When I upgraded to 4.21, this stopped happening every
time I uploaded, however I have documented out of 100 uploads, 99 experienced
this problem. All other protocols work without a hitch, have no problems with
the download side either. I attempted to manually put in zmodem, but instead
figured to check with you first, why do that if zmodem should work
ternally?
Is this a bug with the prgram? BTW, it isn't the modem, I have tried this
program in three different homes, in 6 different phone lines, all
experiencing the same problem. I am not asking for immediate or special help
with this, but if there is a problem that you are aware of, or perhaps a
fix, I would appreciate any information you can provide.
Thanking you in Advance,
Carlos Boquin
