Yes, its a special purpose round. Like the DFA frangible, which, IMO,
is superior to the Glaser but only comes in a few tactical calibers
(.45 ACP, 9mm, .38, .223). The 9mm slug is a 88 grain bullet at ovet
1450Fps and penetrates 10".
Because of its nylon design, its the least likley round to penetrate a
hard object, and richochet or bounce-back.
