| subject: | Anybody out there? |
-> TC> Just wondering if anybody's out there. -> -> shades of pink floyd?? ;) Of course, along with hints of X-Files "The Truth Is Out There" Actually, I have found something to report since writing that. I had to go to a distant town recently and very carefully timed the trip because I had to return for a doctor's appointment (damned diabetes). The trip out took a little under three (3) hours. A few days later, the trip back took a hair under two (2) hours. Yes, the distant town was in another time zone, but I did all the timing and planning by the clock in my truck dash. Same route, same weather, same speed, same construction zones, etc. No major delays or speeding going either way. I've had this happen before, but I think this is the first time that I wasn't depending on a different clock or even someone else to tell me departure time or arrival time or something else like that which would easily explain it. I wish I could make this happen on person. It would come in handy when trying to get to work on time in the morning --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
