Hello, Doug.
Tuesday September 09 2008 at 18:05, you wrote to Daryl Stout:

I had the pleasure of "accidentally" meeting Daryl and his wife,
Janice-my dad and I were in the process of moving him and my mom across the
US from Reno, Nevada to Johnson City, Tennessee, when the U-Haul my dad was
driving decided to let the A/C die on it. Needless to say, in the middle
of July and in Arkansas without A/C was bad (over 101 degrees F outside),
so we stopped in Little Rock, got a hotel room and stayed long enough until
the A/C was fixed.
I realized Daryl and his wife lived there and I called my wife at home.
She got into the BBS userbase, got his number and I called him. Needless
to say, he was very suprised. So they wound up coming over to our hotel
room and the three of us (my dad stayed behind to sleep) went out for a
small bite to eat.
His wife was a very special lady and she was very sweet as well as
intelligent...and she had a quick wit also. Daryl and she were two peas in
a pod.
Somewhere I have a picture of the three of us...I need to find that.
Later,
Sean
