As I have said I am thrilled with this studio it is the greatest! And I am
already putting much of this new found space to good use! The cabinets are
fill to capacity, and I have been sewing and RS'ing and doing some Pergamano
already with nothing getting in my way!!! It is the greatest!
As far as my health goes, I am ok about all that is going on in that
department... I am not afraid of what I have to deal with and I have this
philosophy that you can let the illness take control of your life or you can
take control of the illness and live your life... so I have taken control of
the illness and do not let it control me... and in turn I am having a
wonderful time and life is good!!!

It seems as though there is another RS'er in the making with your mom!!!
That is great! When I think back to how frightened I was to try embossing in
the beginning .. it is almost funny to think of right now... a whole
new world came with learning embossing with RS's!!!

This stamp sounds WONDERFUL! I don't know as I have seen it but sure would
like to!
I stay away from Michael's as much as I can because it is a dangerous place
for me to go... I get a bit carried away in those stores.... I have only
purchased a few stamps as of late... I have made any number of new stamps for
myself here lately and am putting them to good use too. I picked up a large
snowman stamp and Santa stamp two weeks ago when I went to the Pergamano
class. I also got a couple of other stamps there too... all the stamps I
picked up that day were at 50% off or I would not have gotten them ....

It sounds lovely! My family is pretty much the same way... I have been
crafting and sewing for so long that many of the unique things that I have
made go fully unnoticed...
As far as clothing, I have not learned silk embroidery as I have mentioned,
I find it to be soooo beautiful though and I am impressed with anyone who can
do this fine craft.
I am going to be doing a couple of sweat shirts here in the near future.
They are about midway down my list of things to do right now... I will be
painting them with various designs... not sure yet just way... am looking
over patterns that I have now.
Like you I have been spending a good deal of time in my garden... green beans
in abundance, and peppers and cucumbers... the tomatoes are a bit slow right
now... our growing season was off to a slow start... no spring here at all to
speak of ... I am already to plant more leaf lettuce and radishes... and have
harvest 4 heads of cabbage already that were quite large... My garden is
nothing big or expansive by any means.. and I hate pulling the weeds that are
always trying to over run the garden. But it must be done and I just love the
fresh veggies.
Take care of yourself.
Julia
