Turns out I can run Scott Dudley's sqinfo.exe in the DOS emulator that
comes with FreeBSD:

Problem in test.

#1 is the tossed message. #2 is the message saved by timEd. So the
problem seems to be that the .SQI file isn't being re-checked before the
message is being saved...
