It remains a fact that the earth is round and not flat quite regardless
of whether the sort of silly stuff that Russ does demands it or not.

Take that example of the car accident stats by age. Its a very very
well known phenomenon that the accident rate has a quite pronounced
peak in the 15-25 range. Just demanding to see the graph is pretty
dorky when its so well known and in fact just flouts the ignorance
of someone like Russ who doesnt appear to be aware of it till its
pointed out to him.

And then there is the tiny matter of just how feasible it is to have
all that stuff in a readily quotable form anyway. You can get quite
a bit with a subscription to the Senseless Stats CDROm thingo but its
in the $1K class money. Fucked if I will be spending that just to rub
someone like Russ' nose in his ignorance.

I actually found the HIV/AIDS stats interesting enough to bother to
chase up, but the effort wasnt trivial and it ended up just proving
what I said all along, that the claim that its just as much a problem
for heteros as poofter is a complete load of propaganda and crap.
