I don't know about the 'visual' side of it but REXX is a joy to use, Basic
is just a leftover from the early days of micro computing. Also REXX comes
bundled with OS/2.

There is a chapter in the VX-REXX manual on using it so I would expect so.
It's actually referred to a Database Manager which is the old name for
DB2/2.
