OK, I've heard of this move a lot while reading stuff here and on the web
in match reviews and the like. But what is it? I can't remember the
matches well enough to remember the one specific move at a specific point
that the review calls the Flair Flip. Is it Flair's name for a standard
wrestling move? If so, which one? If it's not a standard move, can
someone give me a description of it so that I can recognize it from now
on? BTW, I think I've read of a Flair Flop, too -- same move or something
different? If different, same request as above.

Agreed. I suspect she accidentally bit her lip, cheek, or tongue. I can't
really imagine someone purposely blading their mouth.

*shrug* I thought that was just part of the build up for his return to
the monster personality.

I don't know, I think that would be cool now and then. If you're about to
attack someone and see them blocking or prepared to block well in advance
of the hit, wouldn't you try to either change the attack or prepare an
immediate follow up that uses the first one as a decoy? If they did it
every single time someone goes to block early, it might not be as cool,
but every once in a while I think it could work.
>> * Yup, Kane's bleeding a bit from the back. Is *this* a blade job?
>How on earth would he blade his back?
Reach over his shoulders to cut the upper back area or drop the arm and
bend the elbow up to cut the lower back area. It's not that hard to reach
most of your back. How easy it would be to do holding a razor blade in
your hand, I'm not certain. But he certainly could reach some areas of
his back without much difficulty. More flexibility and he can probably
reach a somewhat larger area. About the only place that usually can't be
reached very easily is between the shoulder blades around the center of
the back. It's kind of hard to reach there going either up or down.

I vaguely remember that part. I never actually watch PPVs though, so I'm
remembering from write-ups assuming it was on a PPV. I kind of miss
Blackman though. I kind of a fan of the submission and martial arts style
wrestling and there's little to none of that anymore. It's been a long
time since I remember there even being a submission match, for example.

Quick thinking on Angle's part. I'm still kind of surprised that Brock
didn't kill himself on that move. That was one wicked landing.

Well, if everyone is in a position to be counted out, I'd think that the
ref's count would apply to all of them. That might make too much sense
for WWE though. RVD could have assumed the count applied to him outside
the ring anyway though. Why he didn't just step in the ring and wait for
the ref to finish counting on Christian and Jericho instead of getting in
the ring and going for a pin, I'm not sure.

That's pretty funny. :)

I wondered the same thing. If all four main Raw brand announcers are in
a match, who's going to announce the match? Apparently no one. It seems
the comments I read about that are kind of mixed saying it was OK, but
would have been better if the match itself was better or whatever.

Which makes perfect sense considering they're the two wrestlers.
>Lawler / Snow wasn't too bad, Lawler ' Coach was kind of funny.
>JR / Coach on the other hand, royally sucked.
I imagine that if two wrestlers was OK, one wrestler might be passable,
but none would be pretty bad. Well, was anyone expecting a fantastic
match here? JR and Coach are announcers, not wrestlers, and probably only
know a couple very simple moves and bumps. Lawler and Snow are in about
the same situation where both are wrestlers, but primarily announce now
and only do matches once in a while. Two non-wrestlers and two part-time
wrestlers in a match wasn't going to be fabulous.

Yup. As I recall, HHH has kept the title since the December PPV, 9 months
running. He had dropped it to Michaels at the November PPV, so he had it
minimally one month before that, from the October PPV, making a total of
at least 10 out of 11 months. If he had it for a while before October,
which I can't remember, the run's even longer with only that 1 month break.
Regarding what will happen with HHH in the near future, I'm not going to
speculate. I'll just watch and hope it's better.
