Well I ported microemacs to 32-bit OS/2 some time ago, and I was
REALLY pissed off that I had to put a PTRFAR16 or something on
one of the variables. I thought I had left all that behind when
I went to a 32-bit OS. And I've always been pissed off that IBM
should have claimed OS/2 as being 32-bit and then pulling stunts
like this, and telling us we all have to go and use PM. But if
it turns out that what they've been telling us all along is to
go and use the Dos* functions, then that's a different story! So
it's more a change of attitude. BFN.
