You might also consider West Palm Beach.....the Gulf Stream swings in within
a few hundred yards of shore, so relatively deep effortless drift diving is
readily available. They drop you in with a divemaster towing a float, the
boat follows the float, and when you surface, there it is! Nothing could be
easier.
The Gulf Stream causes a lot of the deeper oceanic fishes to be very close to
shore....very picturesque. They have some very nice wreck dives as well. I
stayed at the Mariott on Singer Island.....very nice towels, if you know what
I mean.....
